1. What is Savoyowners.net?

Savoyowners.net is a restricted informative website created with the purpose to provide The Savoy unit owners with current information, news and updates regarding The Savoy community. If you are a unit owner, please register with savoyowners.net. If you have already obtained an owner’s account, please login using your unit number and password.

2. Why can’t I access all the web pages?

The information posted on these pages is confidential and will only be available to authorized Savoy unit owners. You must have a valid Unit number and a password. Please login or register an owner’s account now.

3. How do I register a new Savoy owner account?

I. Click on the sign up button or new owner’s button on the main page.

II. Provide your unit number. While registering, The Savoy System checks for its validity & on successful authorization of unit number, the system will provide a registration form to get registered with Savoyowners.net.

III. Fill in your personal details and select a password. On successful submission of registration form, the system confirms you that you have successfully registered with Savoy and your owner account has been activated.

IV. Login using your registered unit number and selected password to have authorized access to The Savoy’s informational protected pages.

4. How can I edit my account information/change password?

After successful login, you can update your personal Information and change your account password using the account edit links, located both at the top and bottom of each restricted page.

5. What if I forget my password?

In case you are unable to remember your password, you can request for a new one sending an email to communications.savoy@gmail.com  and provide your name and unit number. You will receive an email with your newly assigned password. You can keep this password or change it by editing your account preferences once you are in the sight.

6. How often is information updated?

The information will be updated as needed; however, regular updates are scheduled to occur on a monthly basis.

7. Who do I contact if I have a question related to the website?

You may contact Savoyowners.net Webmaster, Mike Shields, Sr. Please allow at least 24 hours to receive a response to your questions, comments or suggestions, or before any action can be taken to grant your request.

8. Who do I contact for technical support ?
All technical questions or requests should be submitted via e-mail directly to the Webmaster at: MikeShieldssr@comcast.net, The Savoy Help & Support Center. Please allow at least 24 hours to receive a response. Please be sure to provide a phone number where you can be reached, as well as the following details with your support request:
a) Owner unit number & password.
b) Operating system and browser used, if known.
c) Any Error message received.
d) Any firewalls installed on the computer from which you are accessing the site.

9. Why am I having trouble logging into my Savoyowner's account?


A: There are various scenarios. Please read them all.


1. You have JavaScript disabled in your browser, a browser configuration problem. Please enable JavaScript (learn how below), then visit http://www.savoyowners.net again and try once more.

2. You get the error: "login failure”, “Invalid Unit number “. You have not provided valid authentication credentials.” This can mean various things: a simple typo, CAPS-lock on, incorrect password, incorrect owner name, or account missing from Savoy owners . The problem may be specific to your computer or browser - see browser settings .

3. Try changing your password via the link on the login page. If you just recently did that, and have tried everything else on this page, please contact us immediately, providing your Owner Unit Number, and we will send you the latest contents of the site while we work on your account or determine what can be done to grant you access.

4. You just set or changed your owner password. Sometimes it takes a while for password changes to take effect. Please wait a few hours. Also try the other suggestions on this page first.

5. You cannot log in using your preferred browser, but can log in using another, such as Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape 7, or Opera. This is a browser configuration problem, system software problem or spyware infection. See below..

6. You cannot log in on one machine, e.g. your home PC, but can log in via other system This could be due to a spyware infection on your PC, the need to update your PC, or a browser configuration problem.

o Did you try using a different browser (www.browser.com) yet?
o Run Windows Update (if you are using Windows) and apply all security updates.
o If using IE 6, refer to MS KB831167 and update it.
o Run a complete computer scan with Summate AntiVirus (of course after updating your virus definitions).
o Use Spybot S&D to scan your computer for malware and clean it (of course using the most recent spyware database).
o If you are using a software firewall, such as ZoneAlarm, SygatePF, tinyPF, or the Windows XP firewall, try whether temporarily disabling this lets you log in.
o Refer to the browser configuration section below for additional very important steps.

B. Login screen has expired, please try again?

if it occurs once:

Cause 1 : Browser left open too long before entering Owner Unit Number and password on the login screen. (Login page expires after 3 minutes.)
Solution: owner should retype Unit Number & password on re-displayed login screen, press "submit". If it occurs more than once (i.e., immediately reoccurs)
Please check your browser settings.

Cause 2: "cookies" are turned off in browser
Solution: Check cookies status on your system http://www.savoyowners.net/cookiechk.php
it will check whether your system accepts cookies or not If your browser have cookie disabled it will guide you how to enable cookies else it will take you to savoyowners home page, it means your cookies are enabled .

c ) Too many invalid attempts.

Cause #0:
You have entered an invalid password too many times for the Savoyowners owner unit number that you are using.

Solution: Contact Savoyowners Help & Support Center

Cause #1:
You have entered an incorrect Savoyowner owner unit number or password,
Solution: 1. Make sure Savoyowner owner unit number in all lowercase letters and the password in exact same upper/lowercase combination as when you changed/activated it.
2. please reset your password at http://savoyowners.net/forgotpass.php.
3. If you are uncertain of your Owner Unit Number, to verify Contact Savoyowners Help & Support Center

cause #2: Your browser or your PC has an "autocomplete setting" that saves your passwords, and is sending the wrong ownername or PW.
Solution: In Internet Explorer, reset options. See Internet Explorer settings- autocomplete.

D. Security failure. Data decryption error.

Cause 1:
Old version of Netscape browser software on owner's computer.
Solution: Get an up-to-date version of browser software.

10 Useful information on browser settings

Setting 1 :
To check your Browser Settings are enabled to accept cookies
Solution:
Check cookies status on your system http://www.savoyowners.net/cookiechk.php
it will check whether your system accepts cookies or not If your browser have cookie disabled disabled it will guide you how to enable cookies else it will take you to savoyowners home page if you cookie enabled settings .

Setting 2: Autocomplete settings
cause 1: Internet Explorer has options set to auto complete forms and passwords. I.E. is sending the wrong ownername and PW.
Solution for Internet Explorer, reset options using the Tools menu
To remove the auto complete setting Start at the Tools menu, and then select Internet Options • In Internet Options, Go to the Content tab, Click the "AutoComplete" button. Remove the checks from "owner names and Passwords". Click the "Clear Passwords" button. Click OK.
